Privacy information · v8.6 readiness
How Tecbench Logistics handles personal information.
This pre-launch notice explains the privacy model being built into Tecbench Logistics. It is intended to be reviewed and finalised before paid public SaaS launch.
Information Tecbench may hold
Tecbench can hold account details, business-workspace membership, customer and driver contact information, delivery addresses, booking and job records, tracking and delivery evidence, vehicle and expense records, support requests, subscription metadata and system audit events. Payment-card details are intended to be handled by the configured payment provider rather than stored as raw card numbers in Tecbench.
Why information is used
Information is used to provide booking, quoting, dispatch, driver, tracking, customer-portal, billing, support, security, audit and business-management features; to administer subscriptions; and to operate and improve the platform.
Access and correction
Signed-in business users, drivers and customers can use the Privacy Request Centre to ask for access to information associated with them or request correction of inaccurate information. Workspace Owners/Admins can also generate an audited JSON export of tenant-tagged business data from Operations settings.
Deletion and retention
Account and workspace deletion requests are review-required. Tecbench does not automatically destroy records merely because a request is submitted. The review process is designed to determine what can be deleted, what may need temporary retention, and what can be de-identified. The reasoning can be recorded against the request.
Security and tenant separation
Tecbench uses Supabase authentication and Row Level Security as part of the tenant-access model. Platform-support views are designed to expose limited workspace metadata and approved support/privacy context rather than broad cross-tenant access to customer, finance, receipt or Xero records.
Service providers and cross-border processing
Tecbench may rely on cloud, database, hosting, mapping, billing, accounting and communications providers. The final public policy will identify material provider categories and any cross-border handling that applies to the production configuration.
Privacy requests and complaints
If you have a Tecbench login, use the Privacy Request Centre to create an auditable access, correction, account-closure or privacy-complaint request. A dedicated public privacy contact channel will be published before paid public launch.
Pre-launch status: this notice is a product-readiness draft, not a substitute for legal review. The platform owner should finalise the contact details, provider disclosures, retention schedule and commercial terms before accepting paid public subscribers.
